L’Assemblée de la Louisiane is the first movement by and for the people of Louisiana: fighting for our language, culture, land, and way of life.
We will be having our first public meeting of L'Assemblée de la Louisiane this Saturday, October 14 at 11 am during Festivals Acadiens et Créoles at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Center (600 E St Mary Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70503).
In the ceremony, we will have a symbolic signing of our Founding Declaration and introduce the Executive Committee, Advisory Board, and other founding members.
We will also have open discussion on some of our first-year priorities to develop our unique language and culture, especially through strengthening and universalizing our French immersion schools.
Please RSVP using this form. There will be a virtual option for those who can't be there in person.
